standard card size scored at 41/4 ; for inside two strips of light or white colored card stock 2 by 5 3/8; accordion piece is a 6 by 51/8 scored at every 3/4 of an inch

The new mini catalog’s best

 Okay !!! Using New items from the mini catalog , I was able to make these dioramas. Here are the final products and the video. Check out the video for materials.

Paper Flamingos – Anything Christmas Blog Hop

           Welcome to our Blog Hop: 

It’s a Christmas gift bag and 2 cards from a single 12 by 12 sheet.

 

Materials :  

                 12 by 12 Designer paper 

                  Coordinating  Ribbon 

                   2 standard cards with        

                   coordinating embellishments 

                   Ribbon and label 

                   (For male bag 2 by 2 csw/csv

 

Directions: 

Basic cutting and scoring:

         Cut 12 by 12 into an 8 by 12

          Cut 4 by 12  by 51/4 by 4 

          Keep 1 ½ piece for pocket. 

          The entire 12 by 12 will be used. 

          Scoring first through 12 inch side

          at 1 inch( top)

           at 1 ½ inches bottom 

           Scoring through 8 inch side 

           For left side fold to 6 inches 

           For right side fold over 6 inch by

            3/16. Just enough to glue.  

            Ribbon to desired length for 

             handles.

 Assemble : watch video for specific folding directions and for cards made with the 4 by 5 ¼ dsp.  

Here are the male cards with male gift bag. The handkerchief is made by cutting a 2 by 2 csw and cutting from 1/2 inch on side to middle of top ie 1 inch.

Triple layer pop up card

Bay Window slowly Melinda

Tea light fancy fold card

 Tea light fancy fold card. Make it very similar to the tunnel card. You can use any punch or die to produce the windows. Each of the quadrants will have its own image using vellum. You can heat emboss, folder emboss or glue intricate die cut pieces to the vellum. The dimensions were given in the video. Please watch the video for details on the card and other options.

October 2021 alternate paper pumpkin

Here is a quick description of my alternative to the October 2021 paper pumpkin. 

You will turn your card inside out and score at 2 1/8 then fold back so inside of card is facing out. for your layout choose your real red banner and wrap with twine and tie a bow. the snow bank measures exactly 81/2 long width can vary from 1 1/2 to 21/2 inches as desired .  After free hand cutting slopes fold  in half like a card and fold right side in half again but in opposite direction. The first halfway fold faces away from inside of card and the 1/4 fold faces into card. Glue only ends to the card. the first section is glued only to the first quarter of the card. For the end glue entire quarter down. You will create 2 snow banks- One larger than the other. the small one will be your final bottom edge. This is done free hand and you might just have to cut another piece to make the smaller piece. There is a final piece of white cardstock added to the 2nd quarter which is a 2 by 5 to 5 1/4. The peaceful deer bundle was used along with a plaid dsp pattern for th/e deer. The peaceful place dsp was used to cut out the lodge. Please check out the video for more details.
